US Trip - simply the best lei..

not going to mention every single spot of our trip here la...expcet some foundings below...

1/ US is the "real" shopping paradise for us, (tax excluded - USD 14.99 Levis Jeans *3, USD 7.00 Tommy Jeans, US 22.99 POLO RL Tee...etc) record in my life that I presented my credit card 10+ times in an hour...

2/ Las Vegas is City of Shopping but not Gambling, Yes! we spent 4 hours in the Outlet but 2 hours in that blvd and we DID NOT pay visit to any Casino...

3/ Weather forcast in Los Angeles is simply worse than the one in Taiwan...we took wrong clothing for everyday...

4/ People in the States would not survive unless they know how to drive...it tooks us more than an hour from Hotel to West Hollywood

5/ Inefficiency of LAX Airport is really frustrating and it took us more than an hour to check in and out...

Did not take many photos (we focus more on shopping)...but we still got some highlights to share below...haa

Grand Caynon - must go before you die (though once would be enough)

CIMG5330

Mann's Theatre at Hollywood Blvd - a place that finally gives us a bit "Hollywood" feeling...

CIMG5373

Universial Studio - think twice before paying USD 85 entrance fee (luckily we joined local tour which paid much less), we spent about four hrs and left early...

CIMG5449

Hope you enjoyed the trip, it's been tough time for us to arrnage this trip and this turned out to be not too bad (having said that we spent 30 mins for every bus waiting). Gotta thanks weather in LA and Vegas (Sunshine Always!), colleagues in HK and the States, and you for spending your birthday with me!

When will be next?

Thinking about relocation these days (not to Tokyo, Tom)...but Europe...please feel free to share your experience of relocation...

2nd Annual Leave in Macquarie...like this idea much that you gotta take 10 days off...

less than a month before moving to IFC...interesting that you may get a new Octopus for Access to the Bulding (different from the time with UBS)....I'd better keep mine, dun want my Octopus carries a Silver Donut...

After rejecting their offer in Jan, had another meeting with Dxutsche again...telling there is no Black List in the industry...haha...those who know me always say this is my hobby...and it's daXn true! To be very honest, this front office role really interests me...and, agreed with Mr. Ellis, think this is good for me too...

*********************************************************************************

Anyway, am having annual leave and no more working matters, we will be flying four hours after!!!

Day 1 HK-LA (hotel we are going to stay is in Comfort Suites, Rosemead (wanted to choose those in West Hollywood, just there is no pick up point nearby...)

Day 2 LA - Las Vegas (Outlet in between, hope we have enough USD and the HSBC card is always here for help) (hotel: Imperial Palace)

Day 3 Grand Caynon (Skywalk...the best tester in the world if we have fear of height...4,000fts)..-> LA

Day 4LA free day (The Grove, Farmers Market, Walk of Fame at Sunset Blvd)

Last two days in LA will be a back-to-back theme parks days...

Day 5 LA - Disneyland

Day 6 LA - Universial Studio - Taiwan

The 4D3N trip in TW with nothing planned yet....haha...

"why don't you guys stay longer in US?" asked by our mums...

"we'r just interested in Theme Parks, Outlets and Skywalk, we will go back once done"...haha...

Mr. Tom, trust me I will bet USD10 when I reached Las Vegas, do let me know if you want me to bet for you and we will settle that once I back...wish me good luck...

Please join me to wish Happy Birthday to Ms Windy W on 9th Nov.

See you all 11 days after!

Cheers

Back from Seoul, Korea...really nice and relaxing (given there were only 3 spots per day)...visit to the farmland was nice (as well as the cheese making)...ptn is...the sheepsss are soo cutie...

ok, time to start hunting again. The investment banking industry is not doing well as the time we stepped in...it's my interest and I'm always keen on that though...

so, please wish me good luck...

24 years old lu...

got two b-day gifts..

one from HSBC - platinum card, thanks for invitation, like having 24/7 assistant...

one from the HKSAR Government - letter telling 5 digits numbers to be paid with a green envelop..., million thanks, lucky me...don't need to ask for help from 安信兄弟, haha...

what a perfect match...

knowing this is not a good sign to work on b-day...I am still checking overnight emails from London and NY...better turn remote access off lu...haha

last but never be the least, my special thanks goes to my gf...makes my life completed...
